Loaner is designed with your privacy in mind. All your loan data stays on your device. We don't collect, transmit, or store any of your personal information on our servers.

Data Storage

All loan information, transactions, and financial data are stored locally on your iOS device using SwiftData. This means:

• Your data never leaves your device
• We have no access to your loan information
• Your data is protected by your device's security features
• Data is backed up through iCloud if you have device backup enabled (encrypted)

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. The app does not:

• Track your location
• Access your contacts
• Collect usage analytics
• Use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs
• Transmit any data over the internet

CSV Export

When you export loan data to CSV:

• The file is created locally on your device
• You control where the file is shared (email, files, etc.)
• We have no access to exported files
• Sharing exported files is your responsibility

CSV Import

When you import loan data from CSV:

• Files are read directly on your device
• No data is transmitted to external servers
• Only CSV files in Loaner's export format are accepted

iCloud Backup

If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device:

• Your loan data may be backed up to your personal iCloud account
• This backup is encrypted and controlled by Apple
• We have no access to your iCloud backups
• You can disable iCloud backup for Loaner in iOS Settings

Children's Privacy

Loaner does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is intended for adults managing personal loans.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy as the app evolves. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
